Google is reducing 2,000 workers as new CEO Scott Thompson sweeps out tasks that don't fit into his programs for switching around the unhappy Company online.
The reduces declared Thursday signify 14 % of the 14,100 workers applied by Google, which is based in Sunnyvale, Calif.
